doing metaphysics is our instinctive style of interacting with the world

we commonly forget that objects of the world, internal and external, were created by our intellect and we think they exist independently of their creators

at least in the case of every day's common sense and science, these objects are some well-chosen limits, the spatial chunks of the changing events's flux tends to, as their time extension tends to zero

we instinctively donate them the existence [(from ex-sistere, to stay out (our minds)]

we commonly assume the world evolve as a consequence of the interaction among these entities, independently from the activity of our minds

if these objects are well chosen (as in science), we will successfully foresee how the world change, by performing our computations on them, according to hopefully a few defined rules

these are: physical rules (tomorrow is a function of today, as in physics) or intentional rules (tomorrow is a function of the difference between how should the day after tomorow be and how is today, as in behaviourial sciences and religion)

we commonly forget all these things, maybe because this makes our minds more free and allows us to speed up our computations

this forgetting - being somehow useful - maybe temporaneously acceptable; however, if we definitively loose the capability to "remember" this mechanism, we become slaves of our creatures, so loosing our dignity and freedom

i hope that may be a useful hint, for thinking about and initiating a relaxed discussion on these arguments
